Clonmany
The picturesque village of Clonmany sits among a number of local beauty spots that include hills, rivers, beaches and even a waterfall.
The village is famous for its family friendly week long street musical festival that takes place every August. This popular event is one of Irelands longest running festivals.
It is located on the Wild Atlantic Way routes, which is one of the longest defined coastal route in the world at 2500km long.
The Wild Atlantic Way winds its way all along the Irish west coast starting in the north here on the Inishowen Peninsula down to the picturesque town of Kinsale, County Cork, in the south.
Riverside Cottage is situated just beside the Urris Hills, which is a hill walkers paradise and home to the family friendly Glenevin Waterfall walking trail with its magical Fairy Trail. We provide maps for our local walking trails to anyone who wishes to take to the hills.
With some of Donegal finest beaches on our doorstep, Tullagh Bay and Pollen Beach are the two closest. A fun family day out is never far away.
For golf lovers Ballyliffin Golf Course, hosts of the Irish Open 2018 is just 6km away. The area is also a perfect destination for cyclists who enjoy it for leisure or as part of a club. Mamore Gap has been a favourite challenge among cyclists for many years.
